Our Family

This is me, Pamela. 

I am a mommy to a little princess and wife to a great man and they are my world. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing dress up with my daughter, going on walks with our dogs, shopping, crafting, scrap booking, talking to my friends, working out, oh, and on my spare time, I have something called a full-time job. I work for a company called Basement Systems. I am an administrative coordinator for the web department, the Treehouse. Not only, do I work in one of the coolest places you will ever see, I love what I do and the people I work with. Yes, I am pretty lucky, but things weren't always this way. 

This is my journal, I blog about my life, my family, things I like to do, products and clothing I like, workouts, weight loss tips and anything else I can come up with. 

Things may get a little crazy, but I wouldn't change it for the world. 

Before I get into more details, let me introduce you to the rest of the gang. 

This is Shannon, my husband. 

We met almost 7 years ago and I wish I could it say it was love at first sight. (LOL)

He had to try a few times and I am very glad he did. After a few months of trying I finally gave him a chance and the rest is history. Since than, he has turned into the man I am proud to call my husband. 

He is hardworking and a great provider. He is everything I have ever prayed for in a dad for Sophie, takes great care of us, deals with my craziness and does it all with a smile.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. 

Now for the star of the show:

Yes, this is who runs our life!

Sophie

She is a character all in her own. She is two and full of personality. She loves to play dress-up, is a great mommy to her babies, loves to wear "ipstick" and paint her toe nails blue. She is a total daredevil and adventures little soul. She loves her daddy to pieces and although they say girls are for their daddies, Sophie is a total mommas girl. Everyday with her is a new adventure, she is always learning and surprising me with the things that come out of her mouth. She has been a trooper from the start and since the day she was born, I knew she was sent to me to change my life. 

To give me meaning and a purpose! 

Now to our dive #2

Our long haired Chiuaua, Penelope. 

I always wanted Sophie to grow up with a dog as I had. Some of my favorite memories growing involved my pets. Penelope was adopted and came from an abused home. At first she was really shy and scared of everything and everyone. I even had doubts if we had made the right decision about her. Today I am so glad she is part of our family. She is now a happy little puppy who is always willing to snuggle Sophie in bed. She is the sweetest little thing and I couldn't imagine our family without her. 

Last, but least,

Our boy Rocky! 

Rocky, was also adopted. We (me) decided we needed a bigger dog. A dog to protect us when Shannon wasn't home. I didn't really have anything in mind as long as it was well trained and big. One day Shannon comes home with a picture of Rocky and to be honest, I didn't really know what to think. I mean, I wanted a big dog, but a pit-bull? I was a little worried, but he was well trained, has been with kids and smaller pets so I decided to give it a try. The day I saw him, I fell in love. There was our new family member, our gentle giant. Rocky is honestly one of the most gentle animals I have ever seen. He loves to snuggle, always wants a belly rub, doesn't mind when Sophie gives him a million kisses and at night, always snuggles up in our room.

We couldn't have asked for a better dog. 

Somehow, things just seem to fall into place for us. 

We had some ups and downs along the way, but through it all we stuck together and knew better days were to come.
